Catrice Lipstich Rouge a Levres review

A little thing I have been loving past two months or so.
This lipstick is from a  May-June 2013 limited addition ''Hip Trip'' line.

Packaging
I have to say I was quite disappointed with the packaging. It has this cheap feel and look that other Catrice products doesn't. The silver(ish) packaging started wear away quite fast and the top falls of quite easily. (●__●)

 Color/Texture
The color looks intense and bright in the container but once applied it turns into a beautiful pink color. The texture of the lipstick is very balm like. It gives this lite balm feeling when you put it on. As such a balmy lipstick it is pigmented very nicely - the color is bright but not too bright, it is also  quite buildable.

My opinion

Despite a really disappointing package I love this lipstick  (。♥‿♥。). Too bad it came in only 3 colors... I hope they will make more lipsticks like this one (just with better package lol)

Was packing stuff for my trip and thought why not to share what I am bringing in my beauty bag :)
The weather today is horrible and I didn't had time make proper pictures so forgive me for horrible quality..

I am bringing my make up in the black Betty Boop bag and the rest beauty stuff (skin care, etc) is in the pink one (isn't it super cute??? ^_^)
I usually don't bring a lot make up with me when I'm going on vacation, just the basic stuff. This is what I am bringing with me this time:

  • Mizon Snail Repair BB cream SPF 32/PA ++
  • L'oreal Paris Nude Magique BB powder
  • MUA blusher in shade Lolly
  • MUA mascara in shade 5 (that is black)
  • Essence Guerilla Gardening eyebrow mascara in shade Garden girls (lighter of two shades)
  • NYX Jumbo eye pencil in shade Iced Mocha
  • IsaDora Jelly Kiss lipstick in shade 52 Rose blush
  • MUA Sheer Finish lipgloss in shade Happy days
I also took brush for blusher and eyelash curler. And that's all :)

  • Live Clean Pink Fire colour protect shampoo and conditioner (poured into smaller 100 ml bottles)
  • Pure Natura Purifying foaming cleanser (poured into smaller 70 ml bottle)
  • Clinians Energizing eye cream
  • Live Clean (Fresh Face) glowing Daily Serum

Vacation/Other random stuff (^_^)

As you probably already guest from the picture..I am going on vacation!
I am leaving on August 15 (two days from now) and I will be staying in Great Britain for 12 days.
I am going to visit England, Scotland and Wales.
I will be going there with my mom, she planned everything.
Our goal, as in all our trips, is to see as much as we can.
We are both culture - junkies lol.
I also plan on doing some shopping if there will be time of course.
I have a list of make up items and other stuff I wanna buy there but if that doesn't work out I will just order everything online ;DD

In the picture you can see most of stuff I got in my shopping.
I was doing a lot of shopping recently cause I needed new clothes and stuff for our trip..
I didn't put everything in picture(s), just the clothes, so it would't spoil the upcoming reviews lol
I am planning to do a lot reviews on both old and new stuff I use.
I have been loving 2 brand recently. It's - MUA and Live Clean.
I am obsessed with there products..
For the last month or so most make up I am using is from MUA and all the hair products I use are from Live clean..know I bought a face cream of theirs too..
You can expect a lot of reviews of those brands coming up..

Another topic.. a lot more depressing one.. is university.
It start on the 2 of September..
hahhh... I get depressed even thinking about it..
I also thought that university years are suppose to be fun and happy and stuff..but the reality is that it sucks.. (at least for me)
Let's hope the last year will be different..

I think it's enough of babbling for now..
See you again then I come back!
Hope to bring back a lot of good memories

C+M 24H Super Hydrating UV Brightening Gel Cream review

Almost done with my current moisturizer and I really loved it so I thought I'm gonna write a review on it..
(^▽^)

Brand: C+M
Product24H Super Hydrating UV Brightening Gel Cream
Size: 45 ml
Price: $19.10 ($6.80 on sale)
Availability: I found it on Sasa.com
The cream is in a simple styled mint green plastic jar with white cover. The packaging is kinda cheap looking and light.
In the picture: photos of the cream jar from both sides.
As you can see in the picture down below the cream looks clear minty green color and it has beads inside.
Once put on skin the cream looks clear and the beads disappear as you blend the cream.
The cream has light creamy (I don't know how else to cal it lol ) scent. It is very light and I barely noticed when using the cream.
The cream is very light and none greasy (as it says..). It moisturized my skin very well. I was actually surprised of how much I liked this cream because I didn't expect much from this relatively cheap (I got it on sale for $6.10) cream. My skin is combination-oily and this cream did a great job with keeping it hydrated without making it more oily. I would definitely recommend this cream if you are looking for something light, non-greasy and highly moisturizing.

Would I repurchase this product? Yes, I definitely would.

MUA Undres Me Too - eyeshadow palette review

Discovered not so long ago, MUA make up products quickly became one of of my favorites. They are cheap and good quality. There is one of my Top products of last few months.

Basic info

Brand: MUA (Make Up Academy)
Product: Undress Me Too - Eyeshadow palette
Size: 9.6 g (12 colors)
Price: £ (on website)
Websitewww.muastore.co.uk

Packaging

Basic kinda cheap looking packaging. Didn't really expect anything else for the price :)

Comes with double sided eyeshadow sponge applicator

Colors

There are 12 color in the palette:

  • Naked - nude, matte color
  • Devotion - metallic gold
  • Shy - metallic light sand
  • Fiery - metallic brown(ish) copper
  • Lavish - matte purple(ish) grey
  • Dreamy - metallic brown
  • Tranquil - lighter metallic brown
  • Exposed - metallic silver
  • Reveal - light metallic grey
  • Wink - metallic dark golden brown
  • Obsessed - shimery dark brown
  • Corrupt - matte black

This is how colors look on my hand in a natural lighting.

Texture/Pigmentation

The palette has both matte and metallic colors. Their pigmentation and texture are quite different so let's talk about them separately.
Metallic shades - Beautiful creamy kinda texture, good pigmentation. Applies very nice and easy. A picture down below is so you can imagine better of how the colors applies and looks on the eyes. One coat of eyeshadow was applied on the primer.

Matte colors - hmm.. much worse texture, powdery; low but buildable pigmentation. The color Corrupt needs separate talk. It is awful! Low pigmentation, very hard texture (need to press hard to get it on the brush), hard to apply. A picture down below is so you can imagine better of how the colors applies and looks on the eyes. Two coats of lavish color were applied on the primer. I don't even know anymore how many coats of Corrupt I put on my eye to get this look..

My opinion

Do I like this palette? Ohh yea! ✿♥‿♥✿ I think this palette is very good for the price. The quality is concentrated on the product not the packaging and I like that a lot because I don't really care about the packaging at this point. I am using this palette a lot and I will keep doing so. I really want to try out MUA's other eyeshadow palette..

Would I repurchase this product? Definitely.

P.S. Feeling very happy to blog again
