There are few tips how you van recover your damaged hair:
1. Clean up your hair before starting hair recovery process.
Before starting any kind of hair treatment you need to clean your hair from all the hair products you use. Use clarifying shampoo to clear up your hair so that your hair could absorb the treatment products better.
2. Stop using heat.
Use heat on your hair as much as possible. Discover hairstyles without heat (buns, braids, ponytail and so much more..)
3. Don't wash your hair everyday.
Washing hair everyday dries out them. Wash your hair only when they need to bee washed - when they get oily or doesn't look nice anymore. I would recommend to wash your hair at least every other day.
4. Don't use styling products.
Use as less as possible hair styling products because they dry out hair. If you do use them rinse your hair with shampoo twice to make sure that all the products are washed of.
5. Use natural oil.
Use natural cold extraction virgin oil (recommended - Jojoba oil) as a mask before rinsing your hair. Apply the oil on all the hair and leave it for as long as you can (recommended - all night). The effect will not be instant but if you use it regularly the hair will recover in no time. I personally recommend to use this mask every time you rinse your hair until they recover. After the hair condition gets better use this mask once a week.
6. Choose a right shampoo.
Use a shampoo that does not contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) - it dries hair a lot and washes of the hair color faster. The shampoos that doesn't contain SLS are usually natural and doesn't contain other chemical component.
Additional tips:
- If your hair is very heavily damaged you gonna have to cut the ends or more to keep the rest of your hair healthy.
- Don't dye your hair very often. If you do - only touch up roots so that the ends would't be damaged more.
